I think that it's about a relationship (or a friendship) that ends abruptly, with one person left not knowing why and still unable to let go of the past.

This song is so sad because it sounds to me that this girl and guy and the guy promised they would be together for ever but then its like it didnt matter when he lost feelings for her. Then she went through this hard break up by blaming it on herself and wondering what she did wrong when its not her fault. And then in denial wishing it were a dream.

I think, this line sums up everything in the song- she's singing about a lost love, a broken relationship, because it *was* what they had. And they no longer have it now. It's over. Evidently, it's about the end of a relationship- but it also goes much deeper than that, because she's questioning herself on whether she was the cause of it... Or whether she's just "a fool" because he promised her forever- but he couldn't do it. They all can't, in the end.

Something we can learn from here- they all don't keep their promises in the end. Be strong, be the best you can be with yourself- and you deserve so much better than a bast**d who only lies to you.

'unbeautiful' is gutwrenching, because it's all about the past and mistakes of the past. One can't move on if one can't forget. And the truly tragic thing is that the girl always feels as if she's become "unbeautiful".

I think that the song means that they both promised eachother never to let go
but the guy changed his mind and gave up she was heartbroken and confused but she believed they were never gonna break up and that no1 could get in thier way.but she was wrong she gets told to move on but its hard. Then she prenteds its fake but its not its d truth.by covering it up she says its a deam.

I think what the song meant is that both of them promised to hold on with each other and fight against all odds, when all of a sudden the guy changed his mind and let go.. The girl was confused of why it suddenly happened and what was the reason why he did it. But then, she just realized that it's just a dream...

A really nice song.. I really could relate to it...

I think it means that when your with someone then you feel like you can get through anything that steps in front of you. But when you break up you feel weak and your like its all over with and what you've said is what you have to say. And when you try to win them back you realize that you actually dont want them back because it has all been a lie or just not worth the trouble and its soo hard to let go of what you've had for so long and to think things would be better if you were back together. But sooner or later you will realize that they just aren't worth it.
