Closed off from love
I didn't need the pain
Once or twice was enough
And it was all in vain
Time starts to pass
Before you know it you're frozen

Ooooh...

But something happened
For the very first time with you
My heart melted to the ground
Found something true
And everyone's looking 'round
Thinking I'm going crazy

Oooh,

But I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away

But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I

Keep bleeding
I Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open and I

Oooh, oooh...

Trying hard not to hear
But they talk so loud
Their piercing sounds fill my ears
Try to fill me with doubt
Yet I know that their goal
Is to keep me from falling

Hey, yeah!

But nothing's greater
Than the rush that comes with your embrace
And in this world of loneliness
I see your face
Yet everyone around me
Thinks that I'm going crazy
Maybe, maybe

But I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the vein
That I keep on closing
You cut me open and I

Keep bleeding
I Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open and I

And it's draining all of me
Oh they find it hard to believe
I'll be wearing these scars
For everyone to see

I don't care what they say
I'm in love with you
They try to pull me away
But they don't know the truth
My heart's crippled by the pain
That I keep all closed in
You cut me open and I

Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open and I

Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
I keep bleeding
I keep, keep bleeding love
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love
You cut me open and I
Keep bleeding
Keep, keep bleeding love

I think this song is abot how the ending of her past relationships never hurt his badly. Its about how she was so in love with sombody who just ended it with her, that it feels like he is cutting her open and she cant stop bleeding love. And when she talks about their pirecing voices, and how they are only trying to keep her from falling. I think that part is about her friends trying to talk her out of loving him and trying to cheer her up, but all she really wants to do is love him, even though he dosent love her.
I kind of know how she feels. Because a few months ago, a guy that I am am absoulutly crazy about dumped me. And it hurt so bad. None of my freinds know that it still hurts, that i am still "bleeding love". But I am. And it sucks.

If no one was to ever post a negative comment, then it would be a compliment board, rather than comment. Technically this is a MEANING BOARD... so let's not get TOO technical. Negativity toward something is a human emotion. I'm not a fan of it, so I give it my true review. If the artist were to see the board (I seriously doubt it) she'd get false information and think EVERYONE loves the song.

I write lyrics... pretty often. And I let people see them. Sometimes positive; sometimes negative... but it doesn't hurt my feelings because they're being truthful.

So my opinion toward the song still stands-as does yours. How about commenting on some of my (or other people's) positive reviews or ACTUAL meanings to songs.

I think that people dont want her to date this someone and from the chorus she doesn't care wat they say...hmm...in the video looks like they got in a fight in the beginning and the guy left and the girl was gonna go tell him (the chorus) but it was too late. I LOVE HER! AND i SO DO NOT think her voice is annoying I think people are just hating!

this song, she's talking about God.
she realizes her sins and now she finally has seen God's love.
thats when she says that she doesn't care what others say because God has cut her open to help her see what she's been doing.
When she says that she'll be wearing her scars for everyone to see, its her testimony to say that GOD IS REAL!
and that the WORLD doesn't know the truth. That people call her crazy but she knows whats BEST. because even though the world keeps trying to pull her away, she'll always have God, and she doesn't care what people say.
