If tomorrow all the things were gone I'd worked for all my life,
And I had to start again with just my children and my wife,
I'd thank my lucky stars to be living here today,
'Cause the flag still stands for freedom
And they can't take that away.

I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today,
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless the U.S.A.
From the lakes of Minnesota to the hills of Tennessee,
Across the plains of Texas from sea to shining sea.
From Detroit down to Houston and New York to L.A.,

There's pride in every American heart
And it's time we stand and say:
I'm proud to be an American where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died who gave that right to me,
And I gladly stand up next to you and defend her still today,
'Cause there ain't no doubt I love this land God Bless the U.S.A.

Stand up for your country. Be proud that we have the freedom others in different countries don't have. And definitely don't forget those military men who fought, died, and survived for our safety.

We as Americans love our land. We have freedom but with freedom comes reponsibility. This song makes me have more patriotism toward my Nation. Yes we have our flaws and mistakes but we're still strong. It reminds me of 9/11. After it happened, our Nation has never been more patriotic. We have men fight for our freedom and we have to remember them and respect/honor them for it. Proud to be American!

I love this song this song symbolizes freedom. i agree with this post.It is freedom for tyranny. To get up every morning and thank god for the rights we have to come and go freely. Thank god for the food we have to eat, the freedom to worship our god and to share our prosperity with our family and neighbors when ever we choose. Its choice in our lives to work where we want, to hire who we want, to make and be creative and express our ideas with others without threat or fear of slavery or infringement from our government. Its our own lives being lived with our families and neighbors standing beside us as we pledge our alliance to this one nation under god, indivisible with liberty and justice for all. Standing and remembering our founders and what all those in our past have sacrificed to guarantee these freedoms and all others to us their posterity and that we now have the honor of preserving those same things for our posterity. God bless America. God bless us to remember and never forget how blessed we are and how we need more than ever to stand firm in our beliefs and pledge our sacred honor to do all we can to keep this land a free republic and vote to support those who share our ideas of this republic. so as you see there is many ways to word it it is an amazing song and deserves 1,000,000 likes like this post does to Everyone should be proud of the soldiers who fought
for our freedom. If they didn't do that, then all of us would probably be separated from each other also including family members. People would be separated by color and race but now we have freedom to do what our hearts tell us to and that is because of the soldiers. We should all be thankful for them! -l. A. O. (an American girl who is thankful we really need to appreciate our freedom thank you
