Here it comes
Once again
'Irrational'
I give in
Paranoia
Expands within
Little voices start to begin:
Everyone's out to take your joy away
Constantly scheming to keep us at bay
Everyone's plotting and they are just taking
You must make it stop
Make them pay
Sometimes I just take things
Way Too Far
Irrational feeling
I just try too hard 'cause
What goes up, must come down
The problem is I have no bounds 'cause
Sometimes I just take things Way Too Far
Reality is surreal
Wretchedness is all I feel
Now it's really just a way
God, I hear the voices say: [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/k/korn/way_too_far.html ]
Everyone's out to take your joy away
Constantly scheming to keep us at bay
Everyone's plotting and they are just taking
You must make it stop
Make them pay
Sometimes I just take things
Way Too Far
Irrational feeling
I just try too hard 'cause
What goes up, must come down
The problem is I have no bounds 'cause
Sometimes I just take things Way Too Far
Wooohooo! Wooohooo! Wooohooo! Wooohooo!
Sometimes I just take things
Way Too Far
Irrational feeling
I just try too hard 'cause
What goes up, must come down
The problem is I have no bounds 'cause
Sometimes I just take things Way Too Far
I presume that the meaning is that everyone/everything is intended to persistently prevent them from enjoying life, and if good fortune occurs, he must have that joy detracted from them by adversity. I know this because i have gotten the same feeling before several times. If you are nonplussed by my sesquipedalian vocabulary, look it up in a lexicon.

I hear depression in the lyrics, as i have such (specific type, don't remember what it is). Things just keep coming, people keep talking, eventually it just becomes too much. Lash out, try to get space, make everyone back off. But too much, too fast, too hard, too intense. Re enforces their beliefs, make them come back with the same, over and over. They come afraid, they come with hate, they come and come and come. Lash out, get space, see that there may be hope... Then they come back...

It means what i experience when i sit at the bar alone. Overhearing things like loser, queer, molester, retard and thinking they are talking about me.

I feel as though hes fighting his own demons. He puts himself out there for everyone and everyone takes advantage of him. He tries and tries for people but they don't care, hes finally starting to realize this and listening to what his mind tells him. Definitely my favorite song on the album.

He's working for the illuminati. This whole album targets them and shows us what a threat they can be!!

Sounds like we all have an inner struggle with the demons in our head about all the people that have pushed us around. Sometimes, they get the better of us. Some of us take this too far and do things that can not be undone. One of my favorite songs from this album by far.

It seems to me that hes saying he sometimes feels that people are taking advantage of him when they are not. And he lets the voice in his head take over.
