this is really a sad song and i like the music video... the girl in this song is very martyr because no matter how much she gets hurt, she will still love the guy, because she's a girl
it's sweet and sad and some interesting shots and structures. but it goes a little overboard with the melodrama.
like SMSama said, he could have donated one eye and things would have been great; i don't think it would have made the gesture any smaller. donating both eyes just makes it shmaltzy and it's a shame that somebody decided to do it like this. also why doesn't she talk to him in the end? i don't get that.
