(1st Verse)
Walk you home to see, where your livin' around, and I know this place
Pour yourself on me, And you know I'm the one, that you won't forget

(2nd Verse)
And in your denim eyes, I see something's awry, and I see you're weak
When he comes around, see your fixin' to shine, and my face won't speak

(Chorus)
Hate to be so emotional
I didn't aim to get physical
But when he pulled in and revved it up
I said, 'you call that a pick up truck?'
And in the moonlight I throwed him down
Kickin' screamin' & rolling around
A little piece of a bloody tooth
Just so you know I was thinking of you
Just so you know ohhhhh

(3rd Verse)
Tremblin' misery, and as cold as a hole
I hug your bones and skin cracklin' woods gone white, and my eyes swoll up now
I can see the light

(Chorus)
Hate to be so emotional
I didn't aim to get physical
But when he pulled in and revved it up
I said, 'you call that a pick up truck?'
And in the moonlight I throwed him down
Kickin' screamin' & rolling around
A little piece of a bloody tooth
Just so you know I was thinking of you
Just so you know ohhhhh

(Repeat Chorus)

In the first 2 versus he is meeting up with an old girlfriend to catch up, when there is clearly still something there between them. But she is seeing someone else now and he is frustrated so beats him up, the metaphorically 'death' at the end is the end of whatever they had because she was clearly pissed at him for beating up her now lover and he died because he still liked this girl

The first 2 verses clearly point towards a trouble with his relationship, possibly an ex; or he's the ex; or just a guy his girl likes. It's not stated, but it's not important. The chorus speaks of the fight he starts and perhaps wins (? ) to prove his love, or, more accurately, to foolishly act out his frustrations. The last verse however, points towards either her death, or maybe more likely her metaphorical death; meaning she broke up with him because of his behaviour and so to him is now 'dead'. He can now 'see the light' i. E. The error of his ways, and is better for the experience, though still regrets it and wants his girl back,

Its about this guy(singer) who is with this girl and her someone from her past, a previous relationship, shows up in his pickup truck, and it shakes her. He still has part of her and she "fixes to shine", wants him to see what he lost and still want her.

So the singer gets his back up and wants to defend the girl from this guy or wants to show he can't have her and then they fight.

    Look it means
He used to be with the girl, and still has love for her
She is with another guy, who isn't right for her
Knowing this he picks a fight with the guy, just to show her that he is still always there for her and cares for her wellbeing, in other words he's always thinking about her

When you love someone but thier attention is on someone else. Your emotions get the best of you and you do foolish things.
