Welcome to the Tea Party
Want to be my VIP?
You didn't RSVP
That's ok, that's ok
Welcome to the Tea Party (oh oh, oh oh)
Want to be my VIP?
When I'm all steamed up, hear me shout
Tip me over and pour me out
Your appetite is flex
I got the table set
Don't get your dribble on my
T-t-table yet
I got the goodies baked
Got more than you can take
Just try and nibble on my biscuits and my rainbow cake
Let's be traditional
And non commissional
Elbows down, pinkies up
That's the way you sip my cup
Welcome to the Tea Party (oh oh, oh oh)
Want to be my VIP? (oh oh, oh oh)
You didn't RSVP (oh oh, oh oh)
That's ok, that's ok (oh oh, oh oh)
Welcome to the Tea Party (oh oh, oh oh)
Want to be my VIP?
When I'm all steamed up, hear me shout
Tip me over and pour me out
Try not to move so fast
You know dessert comes last
I'm the lady fatha mucka try to show some class [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/k/kerli/tea_party.html ]
Down to the last cup
We keep it boiling hot
We keep the party moving till we drink the last drop
Let's be traditional
And non commissional
Elbows down, pinkies up
That's the way you sip my cup
Welcome to the Tea Party (oh oh, oh oh)
Want to be my VIP? (oh oh, oh oh)
You didn't RSVP (oh oh, oh oh)
That's ok, that's ok (oh oh, oh oh)
Welcome to the Tea Party (oh oh, oh oh)
Want to be my VIP?
When I'm all steamed up, hear me shout
Tip me over and pour me out
I know this night is like no other
And you're not just a lover
(Porcelin in paper cup world)
I know it's only getting better
As long as we're together
(Porcelin in paper cup world)
I know this night is like no other
And you're not just a lover
(Porcelin in paper cup world)
Welcome to the Tea Party (oh oh, oh oh)
Want to be my VIP? (oh oh, oh oh)
You didn't RSVP (oh oh, oh oh)
That's ok, that's ok (oh oh, oh oh)
Welcome to the Tea Party (oh oh, oh oh)
Want to be my VIP?
When I'm all steamed up, hear me shout
Tip me over and pour me out
Yes, i believe this song is incredibly suggestive too. I feel like it's talking about sex.
"got more than you can take
Just try and nibble on my biscuits and rainbow cakes" - somewhat self-explanatory
"let's be traditional
And not commissional" - not committed to each other
"try not to move so fast
You know the sir comes last
I'm the lady fatha mucka try to show some class" - uh yeah, another pretty self-explanatory thing...

This song is very suggestive and i'm almost positive it is talking about sex underneath the "innocent" tea party theme.
I mean don't these lyrics seem to have some hidden meanings? :
1. "thats the way you sip my cup" and "wanna be my vip" saying my instead of a and the is basically saying "come play with me if you want to"
2. "we keep it boiling hot" self explanatory
3. "don't get your dribble on my tttalble yet" and " we keep the party moving till we drink the last drop" id say both of those things refer to muc if you kno what i mean by 'muc'
4. " you know dessert comes last" dessert- pretty self explanatory
5. And now just saying read the parts with the "i'm a little tea pot" song. I will never think of the seemingly innocent children's rhyme the same!

I think the meaning of this song is about girls fighting about who's tea party it is my other opinion about what i think about this song is that it's just a diva song

Whenever i imagine this song as a music video or something, i imagine it starting off like a normal tea party, all quiet and nice. If you've heard the song you'd know what i mean. But when the lyrics come in it just get's sorta crazy. Like one girl stands up that doesn't wanna be there and kinda says we don't need tea parties to be boring. She's saying nice things but adds a twist.
Well, since it's based on alice in wonderland,i'd say the meaning is having a tea party with famous people! The feel of popularity, the long table with a silk cover, the warmest tea,and the sweetest treats. Ladies dressed in long gowns with pretty corsets, and gentlemen wearing handsome tuxedos and shiny shoes. I can imagine it all!
