Sunny days seem to hurt the most.
I wear the pain like a heavy coat.
I feel you everywhere I go.
I see your smile, I see your face,
I hear you laughin' in the rain.
I still can't believe you're gone.

It ain't fair: you died too young,
Like the story that had just begun,
But death tore the pages all away.
God knows how I miss you,
All the hell I've been through,
Just knowin' no-one could take your place.
An' sometimes I wonder,
Who'd you be today?

Would you see the world? Would you chase your dreams?
Settle down with a family,
I wonder what would you name your babies?
Some days the sky's so blue,
I feel like I can talk to you,
An' I know it might sound crazy.

It ain't fair: you died too young,
Like the story that had just begun,
But death tore the pages all away.
God knows how I miss you,
All the hell I've been through,
Just knowin' no-one could take your place.
An' sometimes I wonder,
Who you'd be today?

Today, today, today.
Today, today, today.

[Instrumental Break]

Sunny days seem to hurt the most.
I wear the pain like a heavy coat.
The only thing that gives me hope,
Is I know I'll see you again some day.

Some day, some day, some day.

I lost my besy friend by commiting suicide just last month at the age of 14 her birthday is next week. It's extremely hard to live without her. To me this song means that you died too young and i miss you terribly and i wonder what you would have been today. But i know someday in a later life we will see eachother someday soon.

It's not death, but "days" tore the pages away, our close friendship just began, yet you're going back to your country, for you're an exchange student... I think i've give out my hear to you... After summer vacation, you'll no more here... "summer days" seen to hurt the most, since we both don't like summer... Some day, some day, some day, we might meet again...

This song expresses how a parent, friend or relative feels when some one young and close to them dies unexpectedly!
My son was hit and killed by a suv when he was 25. He was struck down just has he was getting his life together, so for me "who you'd be today" is exactly what i ask and dream about!!

I love this song! I had two little brothers who died. I miss them so much. I can't wait until I see them again someday. I truly can relate to this song. Sometimes I wonder if they were still alive what would they be doing today?

He's looking forward to when he can see his lost loved one in Heaven. It's a sad song, but it's good.
