I think the meaning to this song is: A relationship broke up so when the boy left, the girl is happy for once in her life because nobody is fighting her or yelling at her or bossing her around. She's free with herself alone and her family and children. I love Kelly! But this song mostly reminds me of my friend, he likes to boss me around and now that I've moved, he can't do that no longer and I can breathe for the first time, free! Love it...

two ppl started off being friends (but it was all pretend) meaning they new it was to be more than friendship but they tried not to acknowledge it even tho they were both aware. one of the lovers became very attached (all u'd ever hear me say is how i pictured me and you) and there life was revolving around the other person but the dedication was not being returned truthfully, the lover did dedicate time and ebergy to the relationship but they didnt truely love them... it meant nothing and now the relationship has ended the truley in love one has been set free to find real love and is no longer letting there life revolve around someone who wasnt deserving of it
