It tells of the fear if not being "good enough to make it"even though we know that the gift of Eternal life is free of charge. We all posess a falllen satanic nature that says that if we have a dollar we can get a dollars worth of goods and we have to exchange something for something even the Gift is already paid for be Christ and is available to all who will belive in Him as payment and accept that as truth the way and the life.John 14:4.read Romans 10:9thru 14 and see if belive that Eternal lfe is for the asking if we believe he will save us if we ask in faith believing he will and he is able. I have heard that with such a undecribably fantastic gift there befor us why dont more ask and recieve it, it is because that nature that causes us to want to commit acts of disobedience to God is the same one that says we have to pay for it. It is there just beyond the Wall of disbelief and waiting.
