Who's Crying Now lyrics

I was writing a song. Pieces of it have been coming together for 20 years or so. The melody is the last part i always write- that is probably backwards- but stuff comes however it comes - anyway- the melody that came is so close to your song- i feel i might need to ask your permission to use it fir fear of getting into trouble. I will post it on my musician's index page by the end of august 2011.

Anyway, i understand the lyrics to be from an abusive relationship. She was in love with him, but he was trying to control her. She was happy to be with him, but wanted to still have an opinion about things. Anything that he thought that she didn't agree with, he called stupid and punished her with cold distance, icy glares, restraint or even physical force- what could he do? She pushed him to it. Neither could change their headstrong ways- she wanted to just "be" he said you can "be" as long as it is what "i" say that is. She refused to agree to those terms- they fought with all their might- then there was an accident... Her heartache is now over- he can say his love for her will never die from prison, but who' s crying now?
