Pick up all your tears
Throw em in your backseat
Leave without a second glance
Somehow I'm to blame
For this never-ending racetrack you call life
Turn right
Into my arms
Turn right
You won't be alone
You might
Fall off this track sometimes
Hope to see you on the finish line [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/j/jonas_brothers/turn_right.html ]
Driving all your friends
At a speed they cannot follow
Soon you will be on your own
Somehow I'm to blame
For this never-ending racetrack you call life
Turn right (turn right)
Into my arms
Turn right (turn right)
You won't be alone
You might (you might)
Fall off this track sometimes
Hope to see you at the finish line
I did all I could
And I gave
Everything
But you had to go your way
And that road was not for me
Turn right
Into my arms
Turn right
You won't be alone
You might (you might)
Fall off this track sometimes
Hope to see you at the finish line

I believe this song refers to the hardships of life and the inevitability of death.
The first verse refers to the person being spoken of leaving the funeral of the person who has died, which is who is singing this song' "pick up all your tears, throw em in your back seat, leave without a second glance". The next verse refers to how the person being spoken of cannot rely on any other friends for support or compassion, and inevitably loses even more people who were once close.
I think that the person who is singing this has, in fact, died and is looking over the most important person they have left behind, which comes from the line "hope to see you at the finish line", and the respecting line to this would be "i did all i could, and i gave everything, but you had to go your own way and that road was not for me".
The person who has died did not want to leave the world so suddenly, and they are a mouthpiece for god, saying god said it was their time to leave.
"turn right into my arms" would hint at the fact that a race car does only turn left, which is also drawn from "somehow i'm to blame for this ever ending racetrack you call life", "you might fall off this track sometime" and "hope to see you at the finish line".
Those lines just mentioned ^ also mean that the person singing this is ever so sorry that they have unwillingly being taken and have left the person they love most in their hour of need. They, too, gave everything they had, but unfortunately, god has said their time on earth has indeed ended.
The song can have many meanings, but right down to it, this is what it can be about. No doubt in my mind i cried when i first heard this song, and it never fails to make me cry once more.
Turn right is a song that asks for forgiveness and provides faith in return.
I actually interpret this song in a more spiritual sense. I think of it as god singing this song. We tend to go through life and when things don't work out the way we want them to, we can sometimes blame god for it. Then god tells us to "turn right into my (god's) arms". That you won't be alone and that he's waiting for us to get back to him because he's always there for us.
Omg, this is my favourite song at the moment
it's a beautiful one, and it means so much
sometimes people, who you thought you would be with forever, have different dreams and different purpose for life
and you have to leave them.
This song was inspired by racecars because they can only turn left and also about taking chances and finding comfort in the unknown. And to just trust the people u love
This song is absolutly no doubt the most touching song on this cd i think its about how this couple had to go there on ways and follow their on dreams beause ones path is not the others and how the hard it was and at the end they'll meet t the finish line of life i lovveee this song sooo much
