Israel & New Breed – I Am Not Forgotten lyrics

I am not forgotten
I am not forgotten
I am not forgotten
God knows my name.
He knows my name.

Light over darkness
Strength over weakness
Joy over sadness
He knows my name

Father to the Fatherless
Friend to the friendless
Hope for the hopeless
He knows my name

I will praise You
I will praise You
For I am fearfully and wonderfully made.

I am not forgotten
Never forsaken

This song ministers to my soul. It tells and reminds me that irrespective of the every single circumstance that i/we face in this lifetime, i/we are not forgetten! It loves us with such unconditional love that is far past finding out and its no longer a mistry that out of all the millions in the world, he choose me n for that I am convinced that I am not forgotten!

Sometimes when you feel overwhelmed with everything its easy to forget god is in control, that he is king, and he knows us better than ourselves. Regardless the situation, god knows and understands. I am not forgotten! Not one sparrow falls to the ground without his knowledge, how much more us, we are worth more than many sparrows. He numbers the very hair on our head. He knows us perfectly! Psalm 139 says his thoughts toward us are more in number than the sand.
