You feel no warning from behind
The tomb is buried, but warm inside
Through your sorrows of your life
You ain't getting ahead from this crime

I feel the evil approaching me
The voices calling beyond

Silence; the only sound is the knife through the air
Hell is where I'll be when I'm through with you

I'll give up my needs to get ahead.
Dark crimson. They're closing in
Cut wide open the bloody wounds
You feel the power of no remorse

I feel the evil approaching me
The voices calling beyond

Paradise. The only sound is the knife through the air
Hell is where I'll be when I'm through with you

Silence; the only sound is the knife through the air
Hell is where I'll be when I'm through with you.

It's impossible to give any christian interpretation to a song as part of an album that criticizes Christianity in a deep way, not only literal; just see the previous song. But also its impossible that every song fit with our vision of life or way of thinking. At the end its possible to understand the point as a recognition of our human nature, not always straight and reasonable.
