Lo and behold, baby
These are the things you make me do
Katherine Wheel I'm burning for you
I'm burning for you

Come on and break me a limb at a time
Wrap me around your spokes so tight
There's no letting go
Spin me around to blur the line
Between you and I
What are you waiting for?

Lo and behold, baby
These are the things you make me do
Katherine Wheel I'm burning for you
Please don't stop until my heart no longer screams
Katherine Wheel
Katherine Wheel

Holding hands won't be enough
In a world giving head to a god
Love in theory and practice
Chapter One

Lo and behold, baby
These are the things you make me do
Katherine Wheel I'm burning for you
Please don't stop until my heart no longer screams
Katherine Wheel
Katherine wheel

I twist and turn
Your arms swirl
The dizzier I get the clearer I see
You are at peace with the world within

Lo and behold, baby
These are the things you make me do
Katherine Wheel I'm burning for you
Please don't stop until my heart no longer screams
Katherine Wheel
Katherine wheel

Lo and behold, baby
These are the things you make me do
Katherine Wheel I'm burning for you
Katherine Wheel I'm burning for you
Katherine Wheel I'm burning for you
Katherine Wheel
Katherine Wheel
I'm burning for you

A mysterious little song this is with oh so many meanings. The song in a way is related to the story of st. Catherine of alexandra, who was tortured on a medieval instrument of torture called a breaking wheel. The wheel broke while they were torturing her and at the end of the day they ended up beheading her. The song also in a way relates the revolving wheel to life and love in itself like the old saying "what goes around comes around". The song's lyrics also relate to the submissive nature of relationships in general. In the 2nd verse we find the lyric line "holding hands won't be enough in a world giving head to a gun". This lyric line is stating that the classic 1800s romanticism where emotion ruled over intellect cannot exist in a world like today where the world is getting crazier and crazier by the day and people keep wanting more and more extremes and simply holding hands isn't enough anymore. That's pretty much the meaning behind katherine wheel, all of this stated in an interview with mr. Valo on the album screamworks. Hope i helped clear this song up for everyone, but again with all songs this one can be interpreted many different ways by many different people.
