Hillsong United – What The Lord Has Done In Me lyrics

Let the weak say, "I am strong"
Let the poor say, "I am rich"
Let the blind say, "I can see"
It's what the Lord has done in me

Let the weak say, "I am strong"
Let the poor say, "I am rich"
Let the blind say, "I can see"
It's what the Lord has done in me

Hosanna, hosanna
To the Lamb that was slain
Hosanna, hosanna
Jesus died and rose again

Hosanna, hosanna
To the Lamb that was slain
Hosanna, hosanna
Jesus died and rose again

To the river I will wade
There my sins are washed away
From the heavens' mercy streams
Of the Savior's love for me

I will rise from waters deep
Into the saving arms of God
I will sing salvation songs
Jesus Christ has set me free

Hosanna, hosanna
To the Lamb that was slain
Hosanna, hosanna
Jesus died and rose again

Hosanna, hosanna
To the Lamb that was slain
Hosanna, hosanna
Jesus died and rose again

Hosanna, hosanna
To the Lamb that was slain
Hosanna, hosanna
Jesus died and rose again

Let the weak say, "I am strong"
Let the poor say, "I am rich"
Let the blind say, "I can see"
It's what the Lord has done in me

The weak are those that do not know what, who and where god is. The poor are those that do not have interest in knowing what, who or where god is. The blind are those that still point to the sky and say that, that's where god is. When the brother and sister gave me this word, I came to understand, I was made strong, I was made rich, and my eyes were opened.

To me this song is about the precious gift of salvation that god has offered to everyone of us, which has been paid for with the life and blood of his only begotten son jesus christ, and how once we repent of our sins and accept jesus christ into our heart, jesus then begins a great work in use to cleanse and purify us so that we will be righteous, holy, sanctified, and fully restored to god the father.

I'm getting baptized this Sunday! This song really makes me feel the Love Jesus has for me and the need to be baptized in His Name! I want everyone to know that all you have to do is express remorse for your sins and ask Jesus to come into your life as Lord and Savior! That's it! At that moment you will be Saved and Jesus will begin to help you see your way through life's storms (Matthew 14: 24-33). You can then continue your new life with Jesus by reading the Bible with Christians who you trust. If you do these simple things, you too will be rejoicing at What The Lord Has Done In You!
