Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me
Let there be peace on earth
The peace that was meant to be
With God as our Father
Brothers all are we
Let me walk with my brother
In perfect harmony

Let peace begin with me
Let this be the moment now
With every step I take
Let this be my solemn vow
To take each moment
And live each moment
In peace eternally
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me

Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin with me
Let there be peace on earth
The peace that was meant to be
With God as our Father
Brothers all are we
Let me walk with my brother
In perfect harmony

Let peace begin with me
Let this be the moment now
With every step I take
Let this be my solemn vow
To take each moment
And live each moment
In peace eternally
Let there be peace on earth
And let it begin

With me

Peace on earth begins when nations, faiths and peoples learn to share the planet in peace . . . Which begins when dissimilar communities learn to co-exist in peace as a nation, as a faith, or as a people . . . Which begins when individuals learn to walk together in peace . . . Which begins when one individual learns to live at peace with himself . . . Which begins with god, who asks only that i do my part by taking that first step in faith.

I'm reading these lyrics now, because tomorrow i'm going to the funeral of a young boy and the wesboro babtist hate group is going to show up to disrupt the funeral. I thought that if i read and memorized the words tonight, i would be less likely to take a baseball bat the heads of the hateful, vile, evil members or the westboro babtist hate group. Not sure that it's going to work, but hoping that it will.

Peace has to begin within your self in order to extend peace to your fellow human beings as well as gods creatures. In order to be happy you have to find that peace in you. Its not hard

A peaceful world is one where each person is free to experience life and liberty without depriving another person of these attributes.

Peace begins with me by dying to self as in the prayer of st francis... Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love, where there is injury, pardon. Where there is doubt, faith. Where there is despair, hope. Where there is darkness, light. Where there is sadness, joy. O divine master, grant that i may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive. It is in pardoning, that we are pardoned. And it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. God bless and help us all to "let peace begin with me! "
