See, I got a totally different feeling from this song. I know it is meant to be a love song... But it reminds me of a Mom. A mom and her child. Right now I'm going through that faze with my mom, where I'm leaving to grow and develop in the world, and she's having a hard time letting go. But, parents have that natural instinct to allow their children to become shining stars. I think the whole living for someone who doesn't want you back thing is pathetic. I much rather prefer my vision of a mother allowing her child to leave her arms to go and become an even better person than they already are.
It's about this girl who is in love with this guy. She loves him so much that all she could every ask for is for him to be happy, even if it's not with her. Whether that means he falls for someone else, or goes out in the world shining brightly, she'll be ok with it. And she will always remember him.
The girl is saying that she loves him so much that she'll take care of him until he finds someone better. And she wants whats best for him so she'll let him go to that someone better even though it hurts them to do so. Her only purpose is to make sure that the guy is taken care of and loved.
i think that this song is sooo awsome!!!...i think that it would be a good song to put on the NEW MOON soundtrack..it goes with the whole edward leavin bella thing very well
