May seem like its about a man turning into a souless creature but in depth its about how his aggression ad hatrd is building up and how they other member of the situation should do something about it before he does.

Honestly, on the surface yes it's referring to him becoming a zombie or a creature of some sort, yet at the same time, and this is based off of the history of
Greeley estates having similar meanings in the album, take "if she only knew" and
"if i could be frank, you're ugly" for example, i believe it still has to do with the rage and anger over a relationship, which isn't surprising because they usually carry a trend of this. It's referring to how it's causing to transform himself into something he's not, the hatred toward that individual as if he's out to harm him, himself as a monster.

To the two people below me...

If you don't like the song or the meaning please don't comment! And turning into a monster can be physical,for example... Vampires. Turning into a vampire (as the myth goes) requires growing fangs and the lust for blood so basicly changing physicaly. Now,this song may not be about turning into a vampire but we wont know... You could alway call ryan up and ask him.

Just let us fans believe what we want in a song and don't bash it. Waste of everyone's time.

Another interpretation can be letting someone close to you down because you're becoming just like everyone else.

Wow... You guys are (not) deep. Yes, i just implemented a "not" joke. The song is about rage and aggression building up inside until you're sure terrible things will be done by your hand. There is no physical morph into a monster.. If you want that, watch the power rangers. And get a life. :-d good day to you.
