I've just closed my eyes again
Climbed aboard the dream weaver train
Driver take away my worries of today
And leave tomorrow behind [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/g/gary_wright/dream_weaver.html ]
(chorus)
Ooh dream weaver
I believe you can get me through the night
Ooh dream weaver
I believe we can reach the morning light
Fly me high through the starry skies
Maybe to an astral plane
Cross the highways of fantasy
Help me to forget todays pain
(chorus again)
Though the dawn may be coming soon
There still may be some time
Fly me away to the bright side of the moon
And meet me on the other side
(chorus again, then fade out with the following
Repeated several times...)
To me this song can mean a lot, however i take it from a personal prospectus
as my sister constantly played it through her illness and helped her on her darkest days of pain and suffering. To me it’s a song about determination, and struggle and all though she knew that her dawn was coming soon, it gave her hope that we would all meet once again on the bright side of the moon where there is no pain or worries.
