God found her and saw the good in her. He came into her life and changed it. God's grace is so good that it was as bright and radiant as the sun light. It burned through the darkest time of night witch might have been the darkest time of her life. Even though god is in her life and she is filled with joy, it does not mean she no longer has bad days. She still has bad days, but this time when times get bad she has god with her. God is shining down upon her and lighting her life by giving her that ray of hope. God is there to save her no matter how hard the rain pours down upon her. God is there no matter how hard times get. The mercy he has for her is so beautiful. The beauty that god is, is all she needs in life.

God has changed her life by grace,she is with a lot of joy and singing and express how beautiful god is.

Hi! I'm fifteen years old in central texas, and i came across these lyrics as the band i'm in is working on this song. I just wanted to share what i think this song means.

We were all born as imperfect, flawed, sinful humans. Satan knew it, we knew it, and god certainly knew it. And yet, he still chose to send his only son down to our lowly level because he "saw the people we could be". I think francesca is sending the message that god's love is so unexpected, so glorious, and so incredible... It's beautiful.

"like sunlight burning at midnight" illustrates how impossibly bright god can be in the darkness of our hearts and in our darkest hour. (although, nothing is impossible with god! ) light is needed for anything on this earth to be beautiful, whether it's flowers or animals; even if something can exist in the darkness, such as mountains and oceans, it needs light to reach our eyes and be seen as beautiful. And so god's "mercy reaching to save us" is the rays of light that make us beautiful, like the sun or the moon. He is beautiful.

If any one has ever felt the realization of this magnificent, awesome work god has done in their lives, they'll certainly feel "a joy inside they can't contain". It's part of experiencing his glory. And yet, no matter how cleansed of our sins we may become, we still live in an imperfect world, so "even perfect days end in rain". This might symbolize an unexpected disaster, death, or disappointment that seems to end our day in hopelessness. Still, "though it's pouring down, we see him through the clouds shining on our faces. " god is everywhere, in both the good and the bad times. He's our solid rock and foundation, guiding us through these trials, shining his beautiful light down on us as our only true hope.

Now the bridge: "i have come undone, but i have just begun changing by your grace. " this is confessing that although we may want to lead the perfect life after jesus for god, we are continually struggling against our sinful nature. We may do or say something that may seem to set us so far back from god's grace that it's hopeless. However, 1 john 1:9 says that if we have confessed our sins (admit that we "have come undone"), god will cleanse us (he is "changing us by his grace").

I'm sure there are plenty of deeper meanings within this extraordinary song, and i'm sure you can find them if you keep looking. Just remember: god loves you. No matter what you do, how dark your past is, whatever bad habits or addictions you are controlled by, or even who you are, god is there, above you, shining down on your face, ready to catch you when you fall, wanting to make your life beautiful.

You simply have to let him.

God just showing us how beautiful and how much he loved us and that we should never forget he is with us and has changed us.
