Repeat Chorus
Repeat 1st verse except last word

Being a pinoy is in our blood. Once we are born, we receive the title of being a filipino citizen. And a better way to be a pinoy is to give respect, honor, and be proud of our own country, the philippines, and it's great language, the wikang pambansa

I'm a filipino, in heart and spirit,
a filipino born in our country. I'm not used to foreign languages
i'm a filipino with my own language.

I use in speech the national language. Country i was born in,
i wish always for it to be free.

    Dr. Jose rizal once spoke
    he lectured our country
whoever doesn't love his own language
    is worse than foul-smelling fish.

I'm a filipino, in heart and spirit,
a filipino born in our country. I'm not used to foreign languages
i'm a filipino with my own language.

I use in speech the national language. Country i was born in,
i wish always for it to be free.
