The former two got part of it right. But to me it's about when the one you love leaves you, seeing that you are week without them, or that you can't live without them. Thinking that all what they lived with you is irriplacable to you, or that all these wounds, cuts and hurt they gave you will stay with you, and them just leaving you would hurt you more. So happiness overtakes them. But "you" or whoever the person who was really in love is, he's saying these wounds he has could heal. And he can forget about all that pain. And then when he intends to forget about the other person, he sees his scar, and remembers silly old memories of how he got it or why. But then you feel yourself heading away from these things, and that love struck. Then you feel in control, but still you feel as if the whole world's fake. You're leaving but it doesn't feel like it. And you stop trying to show yourself to that other person, now your life is yours. Because when you were with them your whole point or time was spent to show them who you are. And now to find your own way, forget about the past. Just cut everything in the past. As if it never were there. It's like being rebirthed. Well, that's just what i think. x] I'm not sure of how you guys think of the song o.e. I think everyone has their own way of thinking. And yeah.

It's about being in love and letting that person go because all they do is hurt you but it kills you to let them go and nothing's right without them. That's what I get from it.
