Outside on a winter's night as the rain begins to fall
There's a chill in the air and the howl of a wolf while the rain beats at the door
Seven kings will ride on the wind up towards the mountains high
And the only sound that will break the air is the warrior's bitter cry

When the dawn of a sun will see the day then the strongest hearts grow old
And the warrior stands on top of the hill in the snow

Dark night with a glimmering light in the distance up ahead
In the forest they dwell with a misty spell no one heard what once was said
And the eagle fly through the clouds while earth bleeds dark and cold
When the voices of men will ring out again all creation shall unfold

When the colour of night will fade to light and the weakest hearts go cold
And the warrior stands on top of the hill in the snow

And we're standing one and all fighting till we fall
Hoping for a better day never giving in
Until we find the words till we find the words to say
Until we find the words to say

Burning starfire shine in the sky
For the lives of great men who stand by your side
When the night fall on we will ride
For no lost souls will live on forever

Dark night on the valley below still the horsemen follow through
It's a forest that leads to the foot of the hill that inside the magic holds
Seven strong they ride on along to the place where sorrow lies
And the shadows of the night will no longer hide all their mysteries come undone

And we're standing one and all fighting till we fall
Hoping for a better day never giving in
Until we find the words till we find the words to say
Until we find the words to say

Burning starfire shine in the sky
For the lives of great men who stand by your side
When the night fall on we will ride
For no lost souls will live on forever

For lost souls will live on forever...

This song is unique in all of the DF songs as it is the only one that begins with a keyboard solo. This is what makes it stand out so much

Most of their songs go together. They all mention a quest, in which they fight on, with certain elements (fire, storm, frost, etc) and evil enemies against them. Ever notice how well this goes w/ World of Warcraft? Just saying...

Well said, dc100. i agree, dragonforce are the most awesome band, Herman and Sams awesomeness, ablility to play guitar, and they have to rremember the whole song, shows they have made a deal with the devil, doing some unholy deeds in return for musical awesomeness.

Wow is the only word i can describe DF with.

A lone warrior walks off from their encampment. The rain starts to fall and pings on his armor. He hears a wolf howl off in the distance and the rain begins to pick up. The seven kings of the seven kingdoms ride up to the encampment of "Starfire" to form one giant alliance. The warrior lets out a cry of sorrow as the kings approach Starfire. The sun won't rise and the gods won't return for awhile, and the warrior stands on the hill in the snow pondering this fact. The kings dismount at Starfire, the massive forest city. The eagles scout out the land, finding nothing but a bleeding Earth. Yet the forces of humanity will rise up from the ashes of the world. The night will eventually give way to morning, and the undead shall fall, the warrior bellows from his place on the hill. The men of Starfire fight, knowing the day will come for their victory. The city of Starfire, raises up from the forest and stays erect for the men who have fallen to protect it. When night comes, they will ride onwards, to avenge the fallen souls. The seven kings ride through the forest to the valley of evil below. They reach the heart of evil and reveal themselves to the scourge of undead evil...
