You love me like a bull in a china shop
Why do I stay if one day you'll break my heart
Ooh it's easy, hard as it looks

Ask me how I never get with other guys
Other guys with nicer rides and better style
Ooh easy, hard as it looks

I could be out doing all of this on my own
I'm thinking for myself, I'd be the only one
It's easy, hard as it looks

Why am I waiting up for you late at night
Coming in from someplace when it's almost light
'Cause it's easy, hard as it looks

And I'm gonna stick it out until it's time to go
Am I getting sick of this, Oh no, no
No it's never hard as it looks

Yeah I could be out doing all of this on my own
Thinking for myself, I'd be the only one
And it's easy, hard as it looks

Yeah I could find someone who'd never make me blue
'Cause nobody could ever tear me up like you
And it's easy, hard as it looks

But you could break it
If you let time wear away it
So don't mistake it
For something that you're free to play with

'Cause you could break it
If you let time wear away it
So don't mistake it
For something that you're free to play with

I could be out doing all of this on my own
Thinking for myself, I'd be the only one

Yeah I could find someone who'd never make me blue
'Cause nobody could ever tear me up like you

Yeah, I could be out doing all of this on my own
Thinking for myself, I'd be the only one

Yeah I could find someone who'd never make me blue
'Cause nobody could ever tear me up like you
And it's easy, hard as it looks
And it's easy, hard as it looks

My ex boyfriend got me pregnant and kept leaving all day to go out and drink and get high and when he'd come home he'd fight me and make me feel bad like it was all my fault, it got to the point where he got caught running around with another woman and kissing her in front of everyone I knew. That's when I had enough. Now I can do whatever I want, I'm single and free.

This song is about a girl who is with a guy because she likes the s**. There are a lot of double entendres in there, including "hard as it looks": even though it seems like a poor relationship, it's easy to stay with him because his stuff stays hard. And "nobody could tear me up like you" doesn't refer to just emotional turmoil.
There is a warning that if he doesn't start treating her right, s** won't be enough, but bottom line is that right now she'll put up with a lot for it.

In a relationship it's turning rocky. She's saying she could get a better guy but she's staying loyal.
The guy is not sure what he wants and she's telling people who thinks she has it easy, she really doesn't. She's also saying she can find someone who will treat her better because she is tired of being taken for granted. This is what I'm getting fromthis amazing song because it's how I felt during a break up at one time. Telling people I can thinkfor myself becuse my best friend always had other people telling her what she aught to do with her relationships. Argh, Personally I like being able to think for myself and it feels like I'm the onl one who doesn't seek advice from others. Am I getting warm-warmer-hot-cold?
