Wishful crystal
Water covers everything in blue
Coolin' water
Wishful sinful
Our love is beautiful to see
I know where I would like to be
Right back where I came
Wishful, sinful, wicked blue
Water covers you
Wishful, sinful, wicked you
Can't escape the blue [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/d/doors/wishful_sinful.html ]
Magic risin'
Sun is shinin' deep beneath the sea
But not enough for you and me and sunshine
Love to hear the wind cry
Wishful sinful
Our love is beautiful to see
I know where I would like to be
Right back where I came
Wishful, sinful, wicked blue
Water covers you
Wishful, sinful, wicked you
Can't escape the blue
Love to hear the wind cry
Love to hear you cry, yeah, yeah
I believe it's about striving for the redemption of love. Being a hopeless romantic and always wishing for that fire to ignite again & again. Being open to a possibly familiar love that will always revert back to lost and tarnished love. The big blue all consuming ocean (deterent/her ways/life/your love for pain), with that glimer of hope the sunrise brings (love). Hence, true love is rare, but exists deep within us, wiring us to seek it with fully knowing the cruel reality of the dark blue ocean.
