You could have a change of heart
If you would only change your mind
Instead of slammin' down the phone, girl
For the hundredth time
I got your number on my wall
But I ain't gonna make that call
When divided we stand, baby
United we fall

Got the time, got the chance, gonna make it
Got your hands on my heart, gonna take it
All I know, I can't fight this flame

You could have a change of heart
If you would only change your mind
'Cos I'm crazy 'bout you, baby
Time after time

Without you - one night alone
Is like a year without you, baby
Do you have a heart of stone?
Without you - can't stop the hurt inside
When love & hate collide

I don't wanna fight no more
I don't know what we're fightin' for
When we treat each other, baby
Like an act of war
I could tell a million lies
And it would come as no surprise
When the truth is like a stranger
Hits you right between the eyes

There's a time and a place and a reason
And I know I got a love to believe in
All I know, got to win this time

Without you - one night alone
Is like a year without baby
Do you have a heart of stone?
Without you - can't stop the hurt inside
When love and hate collide

You could have a change of heart
If you would only change your mind
'Cos I'm crazy 'bout you, baby
Crazy, crazy

Without you - one night alone
Is like a year without baby
Do you have a heart of stone?
Without you - one night alone
Is like a year without you, baby
If you have a heart at all
Without you - can't stop the hurt inside
When love and hate collide

Its just means that the girl is so tired of their relationship to the point that shes so burn out and disgusted with the guy... But the guy don't want to let go as hes still in love with the girl seriously and that he cant live without her and he was like begging for her to change her mind...

It's about loving someone when they push you away and believing that your love is strong enough to ease their anger.

Im also torn between two man I love. This reminds me of my being heartbroken, separated, single mom.,. I dont know I love my husband, but he doesnt feel my love, thats why he left me for the other girl. . its because I still love my First boyfriend, my first LOVE.

When I hear this song, I think of my ex bf Xzavier. Ever since he left me, I've been suffering through this Love/Hate emotional war towards him. Most days I feel like I'm still in love with him, and other days I'd hate him so much I'd wish he was dead. Although I would never want him to die for real, I still love and miss him each and everyday. "Can't stop the hurt inside, when Love & Hate Collide." My love/hate war in my heart keeps tearing me apart, and even though I'm with my current bf Kian, I still feel miserable and unhappy for about me and Xzavier. This song reminds me of how much I want him to take me back as his, even though it'll most likely never happen.
