I think this song may be about someone being repressed ( and possibly abused) by a loved one.
"Each day that passes by just seems to feed the lie". Seems to say that the people in question have been pretending to be happy.
"What they can't know about me makes it so hard to see". This seems to say that the person singing the song has been hiding the repression (or abuse) From everyone around him.
"I'm not holding my tongue for you anymore". Is saying that the singer is not going to lie (or simply conceal the truth) about what is going on anymore.
"So many days of silence, Too many destructive ways to vent" This seems to say that after the fight that happen one or more of the individuals is using drugs of alcohol to release the pain.
