Christmas Songs – O Holy Night lyrics

(Lorrie Morgan)

O Holy Night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world in sin and error pining
Till he appeared
And the soul felt its worth
The thrill of hope
The weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
O hear the angel voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine
O night, o night divine

O Holy Night
The stars are brightly shining
It is the night of our dear Savior's birth
Long lay the world
In sin and error-pining
Till he appeared
And the soul felt it's worth
The thrill of hope
The weary world rejoices
For yonder breaks
A new and glorious morn
Fall on your knees
O hear the angel voices
O night divine
O night when Christ was born
O night divine
O night, o night divine

I Feel that this beautiful song is a true message from the past explaining Jesus's entry into the world. And what he came to accomplish which say's he understands where we are coming from and promises forgivness and the hope of a new life with him which is permanent forever, and all we have to do is follow his teachings and stand on our faith in him. As he say's in the scriptures "I have come that they may have life and have it more abundantly.
