Chris Tomlin – Our God lyrics
Water You turned into wine
Open the eyes of the blind
There's no one like You
None like You
Into the darkness You shine
Out of the ashes we rise
There's no one like You
None like You

CHORUS
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome and power
Our God, Our God...

Into the darkness you shining
Out of the ashes we Rise
There's no One like You
None like You.

Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome and power
Our God, Our God...
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome and power
Our God, Our God...

BRIDGE
And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
What can stand against?

Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome and power
Our God, Our God...
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome and power
Our God, Our God...

And if Our God is for us, then who could ever stop us
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against?
And if Our God is for us, then who can ever stop us
And if our God is with us, then what can stand against
?
Then what can stand against?
Then what can stand against?

Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome and power
Our God, Our God...
Our God is greater, our God is stronger
God You are higher than any other
Our God is Healer, awesome and power
Our God, Our God...

For the first commentator: nothing is negative when it is about our God. I bet you're a Christian too, but feeling stupid because of the grammar of a song is like judging a person's physical appearance over her/his inward attributes. I agree when we use a more specific name like Jesus in these songs to really uplift His name but I disagree that this is worth nothing just because of some incorrect grammars. What we do or feel while singing this song is more than what we see. Letters or grammars are just like symbols. These are just aids, but it isn't the gist of worshiping or praising God. It is your heart which is larger than the words in any song. This song s more meaningful when your heart is together with the content.

In my humble opinion, it is not so much in the success of having touched and moved people's lives as to the well-meaning effort put into it. The meaning or interpretation of the lyrics in any song could differ from one person to another, depending on one's perspective. God looks at the desires of our heart more than what we seem to be in the eyes of our brethren.
It is worth noting that in the Holy Trinity, our God is a union of three persons (Father God, Son Jesus, and Holy Ghost) in one Godhead, or the threefold personality of the one Divine Being. Worshipping and praising any One would include all three persons.
Greater, stronger, higher and most powerful is our God indeed than any other: other beings, trials, tribulations, problems, afflictions, misfortunes and all instances when we feel God is distant from us. We just continue in our struggles to draw near Him, and God will turn these "troubled waters" into wine when we allow Him to open our spiritually blinded eyes and heal our afflictions. Praise God!

Chris Tomlin has done it once again. This is an Absolutely Amazing song. He is Spirit-Led, Anointed,.
And Christ Centered. I become very emotional each time this song is played. There is a special anointing.
In his voice. May God continue to bless and keep him always in the palm of his hands.

I feel so stupid singing "our god is healer". It isn't gramatically correct. It is worth noting that nowhere does the bible does not call the lord "healer" as a proper name. Exodus 15: 26 "i am the lord, your healer. " - with a small "h". Another point is that this would be a better song if he used more of the biblically correct names jesus, messiah, jehovah or addoni. Are we ashamed to use the lord's name now? Jesus is lord!
