Lost in a sea of memories
Learing to fly again
Morning comes early, oh
Trying to trust these wings
'Cause when I fall, I fall deep (ahh)
When I crawl, I'll come running to you babe
Running to you baby
Now I've gotta sort out these dreams
Feels like watching your life on a big screen
And morning comes early again, yeah
Only to find us two as one [ Lyrics from: http://www.lyricsmode.com/lyrics/c/chickenfoot/learning_to_fall.html ]
When I fall, I fall deep (ahh)
When I crawl, I'll come running to you
Running to you baby
When I fall, I fall down deep
When I crawl, I'll come running to you
Running to you baby
Still falling in circles, oh yeah
I'm falling down on my knees
Once as a child in my mother's eyes
Oh Lord, I swear, felt this way, yeah
(Ahh)
When I fall, I fall deep, oh yeah (ahh)
When I crawl, I'll come running to you
Running to you baby
When I fall, Lord, I fall, I fall, I fall down
When I crawl, I'm running to you
Running to you baby, baby, baby
When I fall, I fall down deep
When I crawl, I'll come running
I'll come running, I'll come running back to you baby
That sons is about love is about your couple he said when he fall he goes right to see his girl and she gives him the force to go on and stand up again

My interpretation is that the writer is suddenly freed from a past relationship and is wanting to step out again, but feels the past relationship is a safety net... That he will invariably turn to when he feels insecure..
