One day
When I came home
At lunchtime
I heard a funny noise
Went out
To the back yard
To find out
If it was one of those roudy boys
Stood there
With my neighbour
Called peter
And a flux capacitor
He told me he built a time-machine
Like one in a film I've seen(yeah)

He said I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they live underwater
And your great-great-great-granddaughter
Is pretty fine, is pretty fine

He took me
To the future
In the flux thing
And I saw everything
Boy bands
And another one
And another one
And another one
Triple
Breasted women
Swimmin round town
Totally naked

We drove around in a time machine
Like one in a film I've seen(yeah, yeah)

He said I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they live underwater(not much has changed but they live underwater)
And your great-great-great-granddaughter
Is pretty fine, is pretty fine

I took a trip to the year 3000
This song had gone multi-platinum
Everybody bought our seventh album
It had upsold Michael Jackson
I took a trip to the year 3000
This song had gone multi-platinum
Everybody bought our seventh album(seventh album, seventh album)

He told me he built a time machine
Like one in a film I've seen(yeah, yeah)

He said I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they live underwater
And your great-great-great-granddaughter(and your great-granddaughter)
Is pretty fine, she's pretty fine

He said I've been to the year 3000(3000)
Not much has changed but they live underwater(not much has changed but they live underwater)
And your great-great-great-granddaughter(and your great-granddaughter)
Is pretty fine, pretty fine(wooh)

He said I've been to the year 3000
Not much has changed but they live underwater(not much has changed but they live underwater)
And your great-great-great-granddaughter(and your great-granddaughter)
Is pretty fine, she's pretty fine

He said I've been to the year 3000(I've been, I've been to the year 3000)
Not much has changed but they live underwater
And your great-great-great-granddaughter
Is pretty fine

I kind of like this version better. I don't know, maybe because I like most originals more than the copy... but that's my opinion.

There's not much of a meaning... just about a guy going to the future.

The Jonas brothers do sing the song good but I think that Busted sings it better since it is the original version.

i kinda like the fact that the jonas brothers covered it. now kids get to see how great the Busted version is too :P. Meaning wise, catch the sly hitchhikers guide to the galaxy reference:
    Triple
    Breasted women
    Swimmin round town
    Totally naked
