You were walking on the moon,
Now you feeling low.
What they said wasn't true,
You're beautiful.
Sticks and stones break your bones,
I know what you're feeling.
Words like those,
Won't steal your glow,
You're one in a million
.

This, this is for all the girls,
Boys all over the world.
Whatever you been told,
You're worth more than gold.
So hold your head up high,
It's your time to shine.
From the inside out it shows,
You're worth more than gold.

You're worth more than gold.

Everybody keeps score,
Afraid you're gonna loose.
Just ignore,
They don't know the real you.
All the rain in the sky,
Can't put out your fire.
Of all the stars out tonight,
You shine brighter.

This, this is for all the girls,
Boys all over the world.
Whatever you been told,
You're worth more than gold.
So hold your head up high,
It's your time to shine.
From the inside out it shows,
You're worth more than gold.

So don't let anybody tell you that you're not loved.
And don't let anybody tell you that you're not enough.
Yeah, there are days when we all feel like we're messed up.
But that truth is that we're all diamonds in the rough
.

So don't be ashamed to wear you're crown
You're a king, You're a queen inside and out
,
You glow like the moon, you shine like the sun.
This goes to you, whever you are!

This, this is for all the girls,
Boys all over the world.
Whatever you been told,
You're worth more than gold.
So hold your head up high,
It's your time to shine.
From the inside out it shows,
You're worth more than gold.

So, don't be ashamed to wear your crown,
You're a king, You're a queen, inside and out.

This song means that when your feeling happy the devil tries to steal your joy and happiness by giving you negative thoughts and making your mind set in the way this world thinks. It's saying that you shouldn't worry about what everyone thinks that you should try to please the lord, because the lord doesn't see you for your inside he see's the good inside you and the beauty inside your soul. This song tells us that your worth more than gold to god and you are so very special. So don't worry about what other's say negative about you , or how people treat you because no matter what you are always worth more than gold to god! ~ lidya 12 years old :)

I love this song and this video. They both have made me cry more than once. I like how it shows true things that go on in every teens life. I hope that everyone knows that you are beautiful no matter what happens, and no matter what you've been through. So don't let anyone tell you anything different. Because God loves you for who you are not for who you wish you were. Because he made you exactly how he wants you to be. You can't change what he's done. Don't try to be like anyone else. Be yourself because everyone is already taken. He has big plans for you, but it's up to you if you are going to follow through. You will always be worth more than gold to him, and everyone else that loves you.
