Feat. Danny Worsnop

(Danny):
I'm pulling hairs tryna cope with this bullshit I'm faced with
How do I face this, a world rendered tasteless.
I can't believe what I'm seeing around me
This shit is astounding and you fucks can't seem to get enough.

(David):
You're fascinated with the old me,
And I bet you hate it when we don't scream.
You're stuck in the past
And I'm not looking back
.

I didn't do it just to make you happy
I do it for the ones still clapping.
You're stuck on the fence
And I'm over it.

I see you there with your hands up,
I know it's real cause you're just like us.
Head high giving no fucks,
We'll be the ones they hate.
I see you there with your hands up,
I know it's real cause you're just like us.
Head high giving no fucks,
We'll be the ones they hate.

The ones they hate! The ones they hate! The ones they hate!

(David)
It's hard enough to keep it classy
And when you see me bet you don't speak.
Tell me you haven't changed,
Since the day you learned my name.

Some people they just can't be happy,
No more questions so don't fucking ask me.
You're stuck on the fence,
I'm over it
.

I see you there with your hands up,
I know it's real cause you're just like us.
Head high giving no fucks,
We'll be the ones they hate.
I see you there with your hands up,
I know it's real cause you're just like us.
Head high giving no fucks,
We'll be the ones they hate.

(Danny & David)
It's easy from the outside, you're fighting to get in.
It's not all gold and glory, I gave my life for this.
They never fail to judge me, no matter who I am,
I can't change my story, but I'll do the best I can.
But I'll do the best I can.

It's easy from the outside, you're fighting to get in.
It's not all gold and glory, I gave my life for this.
They never fail to judge me, no matter who I am,
And I can't change my story, but I'll do the best I can.

I see you there with your hands up
I know it's real cause you're just like us,
Head high giving no fucks,
We'll be the ones they hate.

They never fail to judge me, we'll be the ones they hate.
They never fail to judge me, we'll be the ones they hate.
We'll be the ones they hate.
We'll be the ones they hate.

Lots of fans think they are sellouts because they don't do what they want them to do. They're thanking the true fans that have stayed through thick and thin. Real fans don't complain if you change styles. Real fans love the band not just what they play. This song is about the fans that stay fans even if they're hated.

I think its about saying screw you to the 'fans' that judge and criticize them for not being the same as they were on previous albums, and also the people that judge and say 'it must be an easy life being famous, what do you know about hardships' not realizing it isn't all just 'gold and glory' they really do sacrifice their lives for the fans with all the touring and that. It's not just all amazing, it's a tough life too, but in the end they do it for the true fans, the ones that keep clapping. I think its also about feeling frustrated with how quick people are to judge them based on what they perceive the artists to be like according to their look and sound, hence the first few lines Danny sings in the beginning.

My first instinct was that this was about the fans. I have been following them for 7 years and they have changed so much but they have been my favorite band the whole time and that will never change and it seems that's who he's talking about. I really hope this isn't about Kyle.
