Rise Up lyrics

Songwriters: Frisby, Michael Tyler; Lambert, Eric Anthony; Mabbitt, Craig Edward; Traynor, Matthew James; Warth, Jared Michael

Keep your eye focused this time, keep us in front of your sights,
I've waited long for this, now it's our time for bliss, I just hope we have the time.
I stand broken, please God hear my cries, he does everytime.

How many times have you watched me fall just to smile,
I've been through thick and thin we've struggled through now we smile,
So we're here now just be ready, brace yourself cause were not leaving.

Keep your eye focused this time, keep us in front of your sights,
I've waited long for this, our time to shine, I just hope we have the time.
I stand broken, please God hear my cries, he does everytime.

Help us get out, help us get out, out into the open,
Help us grow, Rise up rise up. [x4]

I stand broken, please god hear my cries, he does everytime. [x2]

Keep your eye focused this time, keep us in front of your sights,
I've waited long for this, now it's our time for bliss, I just hope we have the time.
I stand broken, please god hear my cries, he does everytime

No matter what you are going through god is there. He always hears your cries. Every time. Regardless of who you are. He is there.

ever heard of inhale exhale or family force 5? they are good bands who make christian music. i think this song is about how everytime something goes wrong god helps him. also, its about trying to teach other people to believe in god... good song whatever way you take it. i didnt think they were religious at first but now i know they are

How narrow minded or naive you guys are!!! if your saying is not a religious song just cos of screaming? Well Deftones are Chris Rock and they scream. I cudnt care less if its religious or not, im not a religious person but the song is still good and if the lyrics suggest its religious THEN IT IS!!! doesnt need to be just singing...dont be so arrogant!!
