Keep your eye focused this time, keep us in front of your sights,
I've waited long for this, now it's our time for bliss, I just hope we have the time.
I stand broken, please God hear my cries, he does every time.

How many times have you watched me fall just to smile,
I've been through thick and thin we've struggled through now we smile,
So we're here now just be ready, brace yourself cause were not leaving.

Keep your eye focused this time, keep us in front of your sights,
I've waited long for this, our time to shine, I just hope we have the time.
I stand broken, please God hear my cries, he does every time.

Help us get out, help us get out, out into the open,
Help us grow, Rise up rise up. [x4]

I stand broken, please god hear my cries, he does every time. [x2]
He does every time

Keep your eye focused this time, keep us in front of your sights,
I've waited long for this, now it's our time for bliss, I just hope we have the time.
I stand broken, please god hear my cries, he does every time

How narrow minded or naive you guys are!!! if your saying is not a religious song just cos of screaming? Well Deftones are Chris Rock and they scream. I cudnt care less if its religious or not, im not a religious person but the song is still good and if the lyrics suggest its religious THEN IT IS!!! doesnt need to be just singing...dont be so arrogant!!

    I think When it says
"How many times have you watched me fall just to smile,
I've been through thick and thin we've struggled through now we smile,
So we're here now just be ready, brace yourself cause were not leaving."
It's talking about the devil watching us fall smiling.
And now we're ready for him and we will fight against him.
And we've made it through with God so we're smiling.

No matter what you are going through god is there. He always hears your cries. Every time. Regardless of who you are. He is there.

Ya'll are wrong 'bout dat jesus shmeesus crap. It's actually about his erection problems and how he can't get a rock hard boner like in the movies. But him and his boyfriend have plans to have very passionate sex in a meadow out in the open... After licking eachother's buttholes to set the mood (i know that really turns me on, so i can't blame them). And that's his time to shine, but he's nervous because he may not be able to achieve his much needed boner. But his penis slowly rises up (which is where he gets the title

it's talking about God watching us fall, and smiling, wondering when we are going to him for help
then we make it through smiling
