Then Came The Morning lyrics

Lyrics

Bill Gaither Then Came The Morning lyrics

They all walked away, with nothing to say,
They'd just lost their dearest friend.
All that He said, now He was dead,
So this was the way it would end.
The dreams they had dreamed were not what they'd seemed,
Now that He was dead and gone.
The garden, the jail, the hammer, the nail,
How could a night be so long.

Then came the morning, night turned into day;
The stone was rolled away, hope rose with the dawn.
Then came the morning, shadows vanished before the sun,
Death had lost and life had won, for morning had come.

The angel, the star, the kings from afar,
The wedding, the water, the wine.
Now it was done, they'd taken her son,
Wasted before his time.
She knew it was true, she'd watched him die too,
She'd heard them call Him just a man,
But deep in her heart, she knew from the start,
Somehow her Son would live again.

Then came the morning, night turned into day;
The stone was rolled away, hope rose with the dawn.
Then came the morning, shadows vanished before the sun,
Death had lost and life had won, for morning had come.

Then came the morning, shadows vanished before the sun,
Death had lost and life had won, for morning had come.

Morning had come.

It means to me that regardless of how hopeless things may look or feel at d moment just beyond d tunnel a brand new glory awaits. Good friday may feel so horrible and sorrowful; saturday may be disquietingly silent, but sunday comes wit a whole new whole. Hope must never be lost. The story of calvary is summarized in hope.

Its about the love of god the father, sending his only son to redeem us from our sins. Its about the pain and suffering which he had to undergo, in order that you and i may have life everlasting. What a love! Thank god he was triumphant over death. He rose

It is about hope. It is about amazing love given to us by the father through his son!. It is knowing that i will not always live in this sinful world, but will one day live with him in heaven.

It is just about the age-old story of how jesus christ defeated the greatest enemy of mankind called death. In christ, there is life, and life eternal. Life forevermore. He is the way, the truth, and the life. No man come unto the father but by him. Glory to god in the highest on this christmas season!

The lyrics mean this: that christ died for our sins just like the tanakh said he would, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day again, to fulfill those old testament prophecies, and that he appeared to peter, and then to the twelve... More than five hundred... Then he appeared to james... To all the apostles... And last of all, he appered to me (paul) also, as to one abnormally born... It's the gospel in a nutshell.
