I heard this song on my ipod while running. I was running hard because my son was in afghanistan and 9 members of his battalion were killed in 4 days. I was scared and needed physical relief from the emotional pain i was in. I did not recall hearing this song before. It became "my" song for my son for the rest of the deployment. I knew it was about god, but i still felt that way about my son and i did not know if i would ever see him again. He did come home, but close to 25% of his battalion was killed or wounded. His battalion took more casualties than any other marine battalion in 10 years in afghanistan. His company was the last of the 3/5 darkhorse battalion to arrive home. They arrived on good friday of this year. The resurrection had an even more special meaning to me this year.
