To me, Smash Into You means the offering of unconditional lvoe to the person purposed for your life. Her love overflows within the deepest parts of her soul. Her Spirit is connected and locked in with the love of her life. And she runs the course of life for her love. Smashing into him is the ultimate in having the love she feels so intensely, so strongly, so deeply to be reciprocated. Love is a many splendoured thing when it is shared between soulmates.

This song to me is talkiing about a love that is being contained. SHe is so overwhelmed by how this person makes her feel, that she wants to let loose. She wants to be free (I wanna smash into you).She is talking about having her head down because she is sure that she is in love but know what she is about to do is out of character and could have some consquences. But because she is so in love she is willing to take whatever risk she needs to that is why she compares the risk to the earth. Because humans alwas try to contain nature. When she talks about love being in her grasp, she talking about how close she is to enjoying her love with this person how its there but so far away.

this song can mean one or two things:

1. this song means that she is having trouble wit him and she really wants to work thing out wit him. She thinks that she and her love is racing the earth and their love is so geniune it is worth a gold medal. She just wants to work things out because she loves him alot.

2. this song means that she loves him and she is so in love wit him that she cant contain herself. She just wants him to feel the same way.
