I, made the choice For
papa I will stay But
I don't deserve to lose my freedom in this way You
monster If!

you think that what you've done is right Well
then you're... a fool Think
again Is

this home Is?
this where I should learn to be happy Never?
dreamed That
a home could be Dark
and cold I was told Every
day in my childhood Even
when we grow old Home
will be where the heart is Never
were words so true My
heart's far far, away Home

is too Is.

this home Is?
this what I must learn to believe in Try?
to find something good In
this tragic place Just
in case I
should stay here forever Held
in this empty space Oh
but, that won't be easy I
know the reason why My
heart's far far, away Home's
a lie What
I'd give To
return To
the life that I knew lately But
I know that I can't Solve
my problems going back Is

this home Am?
I here for a day or forever Shut?
away from the world until Who
knows when Oh
but then As
my life has been altered once it can change again Build
higher walls around me Change
every lock and key Nothing
lasts nothing, holds all of me My

heart's far far, away Home
and, free

Bell has just been deemed the beast's prisoner forever. In this demonstrative ballad, she wonders if it is fate that put her there, and if she will ever be let go. Throughout the song, she builds her confidence, and tells herself that no one, not even the monster by whome she has been captured, can control her, and keep her withheld.

My meaning is that belle just was very close to her father and for him to be taken away from her was very hard for her to adapt.

I love my family & of where i'm living at. My meaning of home is a peaceful & relaxing place to live in or to visit.

This song is a frightened little girl who did a brave thing to save the one she loved the most, her father. She is locked in a cold dark cell. She then gathers courage and decides she will be strong and find a way to escape, and go home to her father

The meaning of home is actually quite literal. Belle, perhaps in response to the tremendous stress her surrender has created, has put up a mental block to her surroundings as a coping mechanism. When she asks "is this home? " she's actually inquiring as to the nature of her surroundings. Belle no longer knows where she is because her cognitive processes are at their breaking point. At the end, she remembers where she is, accepts her fate, and remembers that she left the door to her actual home unlocked as evidenced by the lines: "change every lock and key, nothing lasts" (recognizing that forgetting to lock the door isn't a big deal in the grand scheme of things) and "home and free" (referring to the fact that her home is free to enter because it is unlocked). Hope this helps.
