When i find myself in times of trouble
Mother mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be
.
And in my hour of darkness
She is standing right in front of me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

And when the broken hearted people
Living in the world agree,
There will be an answer, let it be.
For though they may be parted there is
Still a chance that they will see
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be. yeah
There will be an answer, let it be.

And when the night is cloudy,
There is still a light that shines on me,
Shine on until tomorrow, let it be.
I wake up to the sound of music
Mother mary comes to me
Speaking words of wisdom, let it be.
Let it be, let it be.
There will be an answer, let it be.
Let it be, let it be,
Whisper words of wisdom, let it be.

It is a really meaningful song. I heard this song from radio before and it was truly phenomenal. I vividly remembered, not resounding its accuracy, this song was written in remembrance of his very own mother, who supported him eventhough he didn't make it in his exams during his childhood. A good motivational song and one of the most meaningful one that i have ever heard.

Paul wrote this song remembering him own Mother whose name was Mary and when she was gone he missed her guidance and support very deeply. But 'in times of trouble' he could 'go' to her for 'words of wisdom' and encouragement. It's truly one of the best works ever by the artist.

Around 1968ish, we all know that the beatles weren't getting along and paul was trying to keep them together. One night, paul have a dream in which his mother mary (who died when he was 14) came to him. She told him everything was going to be ok and just let it be. And so the song was born.
