Aya Hirano – Misa No Uta (English) lyrics

Be careful what you do, cause god is watching your every move.
Hold my hand in the dark street, for if you do I know that I'll be safe
Even if I'm far away and alone, I can be sure you will find me there
This I know
You draw me close for a while, so quiet.
You tell me everything
If I forget what you say, then you come to me and tell me again.
Yes you tell me once again
But what happens when, I know it all then what should I do after that?
What then

I think this song refers to Light Yagami and Misa's relationship saying how they started off as "colleges" trying to create a criminal free world but Misa having other plans with Light sings this song to remind herself that Light died and this song refers to as I said before their relationship through Misa's pint of view so I will sum this up by saying that this song Means the way light and Misa worked together however by the time this song is sung Light is dead so she sorta sings lights life (involving her) In a song I also think that Misa sang this thinking what she is gonna do now that her only Love is dead this is confirmed in the manga where she commits suicide however in the anime Misa is in mourning.
