Awolnation – Sail lyrics

Sail!

This is how I show my love
I made it in my mind because
I blame it on my A. D. D baby

This how an angel cries
I blame it on my own sick pride

Blame it on my A. D. D baby

Sail! [x5]

Maybe I should cry for help
Or maybe I should kill myself (myself)

Blame it on my A. D. D baby

Maybe I'm a different breed
Maybe I'm not listening
So blame it on my A. D. D baby

Sail! [x5]

La lala lala, la lala lala oh [x2]

Sail! [x5]

Sail! [x5]
(Sail with me into the dark)[x3] (Sail with me)[x2]

I think this song is about someone just wanting to be loved for who they are. I think the person wants the other person to just find something, anything, to blame their faults on and then just accept them because it can't be changed, like A. D. D. The person wants desperately to be taken seriously and accepted for who they are, even if they are "different. " just sail with it!
