Avril Lavigne – Tomorrow lyrics
And I wanna believe you,
When you tell me that it'll be ok,
Ya I try to believe you,
But I don't

When you say that it's gonna be,
It always turns out to be a different way,
I try to believe you,
Not today, today, today, today, today...

[Chorus:]

I don't know how I'll feel,
Tomorrow, tomorrow,
I don't know what to say,
Tomorrow, tomorrow
Is a different day

It's always been up to you,
It's turning around,
It's up to me,
I'm gonna do what I have to do,
Just don't

Gimme a little time(yeah),
Leave me alone a little while,
Maybe it's not too late,
Not today, today, today, today, today...

[Chorus:]

I don't know how I'll feel,
Tomorrow, tomorrow,
I don't know what to say,
Tomorrow, tomorrow
Is a different day

Hey yeah yeah, hey yeah yeah, and I know I'm not ready,
Hey yeah yeah, hey yeah yeah, maybe tomorrow

Hey yeah yeah, hey yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah, I'm not ready,
Hey yeah yeah, hey yeah yeah, no no, maybe tomorrow

And I wanna believe you,
When you tell me that it'll be ok,
Yeah I try to believe you,
Not today, today, today, today, today...

Tomorrow it may change,
Tomorrow it may change,
Tomorrow it may change,
Tomorrow it may change.

This song maybe about a relationship but I think that it's about a loved one passing away and it's her wishing that she could have a little more time to process the reality of the situation. And hoping that they will be better by tomorrow while they tell them everything is gonna be alright. She's not ready for them to pass away yet. This is actually one of my favorite songs and thought this meaning could be possible due to kind of dedicating the song to her Grandpa at one of her concerts after he passed away

Deep song. Avril is a great lyricist hehe. Uhm it's about a girl who couldn't get along with his boyfriend? And she's kinda tired already of believing that they're still gonna be ok. She's not sure if she should still believe in him. But maybe tomorrow everything will turn out the way it should be. But always keep in mind that "just because it is.. doesn't mean it should be" -hehe that's from hugh jackman's movie, australia :)

I don't think this is about love. My meaning is that she must starts to take some choose, but she's afraid to take wrong chooses. She needs time. She thinks that everything will be okey tomorrow. But she isn't sure. She don't belive he or she, and are afraid of life. Life is about to make some choose. Someone takes wrong chooses, and I think that avril was afraid of that. And I think she was thinking like this: "tomorrow is a different day. Maybe i know what to do then".
