To me its saying to the listener that it is okay to be different... & if you are different your not the only one because everyone should be.. (is) different in their own way... Its saying be yourself... Everyone else is taken :)

I think that this song is about not caring what others think of you, and having fun. And not needing alot to be happy.

She's saying she'd rather be different than boring like an ordinary person, i understand her when shes singing this, like she really loves
to be differnt and she doesnt care what people. Also, shes saying that is there anyone out there that
would accept her for herself?

Yea this is the best song of avril.. The deepest one.. And yes it's about a brokenhearted girl.. This is one of my fave songs caz it tells everything about me.. A girl who had her heart broken by some guy and it somewhat stopped her world, stopped living her life.. And suddenly she realizes that she's had enough, enough share of pain.. And that she shouldn't waste another minute of her life over a guy again.. There's more to life than just falling in love.. Go out, live your life the fullest, and do something you're good at.. Be something!

I like everything about the song..

When im singing this song, i feel like i reall am the one saying this..

Its like i just wrote down a song full of the feelings i have inside..

And the best part is the line that goes..
