The world is too heavy
Too big for my shoulders
Come take this weight off me now

1000's of answers
To one simple question
Come take this weight off me now

Oh I'm like a kid who just won't let it go
Twisting and turning the colours in rows
I'm so intent to find out what it is
This is my Rubik's cube
I know I will figure it out

Lost in the playground
Late night nostalgia
Open the sky for me now

Friends round the fire
Outside in December
Open the sky for me now

Oh I'm like a kid who just won't let it go
Twisting and turning the colours in rows
I'm so intent to find out what it is
This is my Rubik's cube
I know I will figure it out

Credits roll over the edge of horizons
That I haven't discovered yet

Oh I'm like a kid who just won't let it go
Twisting and turning the colours in rows
I'm so intent to find out what it is
This is my Rubik's cube
I know I will figure it out

Oh I'm like a kid who just won't let it go
Twisting and turning the colours in rows
I'm so intent to find out what it is
This is my Rubik's cube
I know I will figure it out

These lyrics represent how life is like a puzzle. How every twist and turn is just another day on this earth, and how confusing it us, but we keep at it. We want so desperately to solve this riddle, this simple question of life, that no matter how life gets us down, we continue to try and try, much like a kid with a Rubik's Cube.

    "The world is too heavy
    Too big for my shoulders
Come take the weight off me now."
This refers to how everything in life seems to be crashing down on you and you just desperately need someone to take the weight away from your shoulders.

    "Thousands of answers
    To one simple question
Come take the weight off me now."
This line tells how you can go through life through many different paths and get a different outcome, but life is still just one question.

The chorus is like I said, using a kid and a Rubik's Cube to explain life and humanity.

    "Lost in the playground
    Late night nostalgia
Open the sky for me now"
Refers to how you feel when all you want is to go back to those days when your only real troubles were small things and nothing mattered.

    "Friends round the fire
    Outside in December
Open the sky for me now"
This line tells of all those childhood memories and friends that you can never get back, and would do anything just to experience again...

"Credits roll over the edge of horizons
    That I haven't discovered yet"
This is talking about how even when you think you have life figured out, you see all new opportunities...an endless field of possibilities....
