Amy Winehouse – Rehab lyrics
They tried to make me go to rehab, I said no, no, no
Yes I've been black and when I come back, you'll know, know, know
I ain't got the time
And if my daddy thinks I'm fine
Just try to make me go to rehab I won't go, go, go

I'd rather be at home with Ray
I ain't got seventy days
Cos there's nothing, there's nothing you can teach me
That I can't learn from Mr Hathaway

Didn't
get a lot in class
But I know it don't come in a shot glass

They tried to make me go to rehab I said no, no, no
Yes I've been black but when I come back you'll know, know, know
I ain't got the time
And if my daddy thinks I'm fine
Just try to make me go to rehab I won't go, go, go

The man said "why you think you here?"
I said "I got no idea"
I'm gonna, I'm gonna lose my baby
So I always keep a bottle near
He said "I just think you're depressed"
This me "Yeah baby, and the rest"

They tried to make me go to rehab I said no, no, no
Yes I've been black but when I come back you'll know, know, know

I don't ever want to drink again
I just, ooh just need a friend
I'm not gonna spend ten weeks
Have everyone think I'm on the mend

And it's not just my pride
It's just till these tears have dried

They tried to make me go to rehab I said no, no, no
Yes I've been black but when I come back you'll know, know, know
I ain't got the time
And if my daddy thinks I'm fine
Just try to make me go to rehab I won't go, go, go!

Like most alcoholics, she denied having a problem. Alcoholism is a progressive fatal illness that can be stopped, but not cured. If not stopped the patient will die. Do not think that love heals it. It does not. Don't think that the patient chooses to die. It does not feel like a free choice. I really like the song though it breakes my heart. I lost my husband for the same reason.

I never wanted rehab either in My mind.I was pushed into it by my employers and it's helped Me get into A.A. and changed My life amazingly! I paid My debts off, kept My job, have kept the money that I would have spent on it, am happy, the list of things for the better is endless. I can't ever drink alcohol again, but the gifts I have been given as a result of staying sober far outweigh it. If They had told Me, even just a fraction of it I never would have believed it and that's a fact.

This song is actually about Amy's relationship with Ray, her German shepherd. Most rehab facilities immediately take away the things you most need when you enter them, including that bottle you snuck in your suitcase, books that might help you pass the time while they are sticking their message up your butt, and certainly a favorite pet. God damn the rehab man!

Amy was a genius, she died young, she wanted to have a children. She was only 27 years old and she didn't want to die. She had a beautiful voice and her songs were written by herself, it wasn't senseless like Britney Spears and Aguilera songs. We will always love her.

Her record label said that she had to go to rehab. She dropped the label, signed onto another, released this track and album, landing her on the billboard charts and winning her many awards. At the end of the video she ends up in Rehab. It also says that she doesn't want to go just for the public image, and you can tell she doesn't care by the crazy pictures that have been taken of her.

Lol, amy did go to rehab about 7 times, when she died she was acutally an out paitent at one of londons most succesful rehabs. She wrote this song as kind of a joke, its just about how everyone was always nagging her to go and get herself better, and what her opinions were about her drinking habbit, which are kind of the steroetypical things that goes through an achoolics head. And btw the reason she died in the end was achool posioning, not because of her former drug addicted which at the time of death she had infact giving up.

This is about Amy, herself. She refuses to go to rehab coz' she's gone completely mad. She does'nt believe people that she's actually a drug addict. She refuses to go to Rehab coz' she wanna prove that she's right but, heck no! By the way she acted lately, she really need to go to rehab, yeah, yeah, yup. Anyway, I think her drug addiction has decreased since she was now into guys.
