alexthomasdavis – Unlucky Dog lyrics

Theres an unlucky dog in our street
He never really ever gets a treat
His owner takes him by the hand
And leads him off to foreign lands
He really is a selfish man
He reaks
Theres an unlucky dog in our street
Some people say that hes got two left feet
His owner is the biggest drag
He has too many shopping bags
That bang against the dogs old back each week
Theres an unlucky dog in our street
His owners captain sorrow and hes bleak
He really is the biggest bore
He takes the door into the store
And traps his tail right in the door
He squeeks
Theres an unlucky dog in our street

This song is about the miserable dog you see wometimes in the street. I'm not talking about whippets they always look miserable! I'm talking about the one with the bad owner, who is selfish toward his pooch and doesn't care him/her. I went through a stage of putting funny songs on the end of my albums (see also Already Spacemen) but took them off when I put the albums on Spotify as it was a bit ungenre agreeable.
