I'd be happy
Happy with a plain jane
I'd be happy
Happy with a plain
Jane there she goes
Watch her come back round again
And she knows
How to count back down from ten

And she shows
She's no barbie I'm no ken
Her love glows
It sends me right around the bend
I'd be happy
Happy with a plain jane
I'd be happy
Happy with a plain
Jane she don't smile
She don't wear no brand new shoes
For a while

She has a sparkling yellow bruise
Her bathroom tiles
Need re-grouting and some glue
At least she is of average build
I'd be happy
Happy with a plain jane
I'd be happy
Happy with a plain jane

This song came from a sentiment I always told myself growing up.. I'd be happy with a plain jane. I would I really would. Just shows how hard it has been that not even a plain jane has presented herself in front of me HA! I like the change from the chorus to verse also in this song.
