I left my heart in sunderland
On every single street

Where every day is like a trick
Each night is not a treat
I left my heart in albrighton
On every single street
Where just four pubs is quite enough
For friends to meet and greet
And when the day is through and done
It's nice to have some time for some fun
And when the day is done and through
The boozer seems to come to you
Down the boozer half past ten
I need another drink
The bar is rammed the beer is rank
I cannot even think
Down the boozer here again
I need another drink
The bar is rammed the beer is rank
I cannot even think
I left my heart down brighton way
On every single street
There was a girl who came to play
I girl I cannot beat

I left my heart in harrogate
On every single street
The people there were quite stuck up
The traffic was a fleet

This song covers a couple of bases. Its about me, leaving my heart in different places I've lived, until it keeps getting smaller and smaller because of this. Its also about being down the boozer, and drinking loads of beer, even though the bar is rammed and the lager is watered down.
