In above "I ran" note also "tawny eyes" strange? Intro " I walked along the avenue" he is obviously walking alone perhaps in the carnage of a nuclear fallout. "never thought I'd meet a girl like you" once again innocent enough sounding, but look at even old Twilight Zone, when guy is wandering around city rubble after a major war, or nuclear implosion. "the kind of eyes that hypnotize" sounds romantic? Stunning, brilliant or?, vacant, as in shock, and feeling lost after nuke. "I ran couldn't get away" he can't get away from the effects everywhere of nuclear fallout. "Reached out a hand to touch your face", "you're disappearing out of view" this girl he meets and spends some time with her but the effects of radioactivity take their toll and she's dying from cancer. Then "I'm floating in a beam of light with you" he is either recalling flash of initial nuclear explosion, or yet another nuclear explosion takes place, and he knows he is very soon to share the same fate as the girl.

Is innocent sounding Flock of Seagulls song "I Ran" have underlying even prophetic meanings? Title "I Ran" Iran formerly Persia before 1935. We should know dreams are generally meaningless unless they come from God, and the prophet Daniel correctly prophesied all kingdoms from that era around 500 B.C. Note: U.S. is the eagle plucked from the lion (England) In song lyric "aurora borealis" is as if dawn and rebirth of The Roman Empire, which of course morphs into global government. "beam of light" sounds romantic but does he really mean the bright flash of a nuclear explosion? Just google mushroom cloud, and I think you'll see what song means. We saw Hiroshima, now we see the nuclear arms race with Iran very much on the scene. Perhaps "aurora borealis" is significant of dawn of nuclear age?
